The word kundalini literally translate a “the curl of the lock of hair”. This is a metaphor that describes the energy that exists in each one of us. Kundalini yoga is thought of the yoga of awareness and very much has its roots in the Sikh religion. It is thought to be a form of yoga that anyone of any physical ability can take part in and it includes a combination of breathing, postures, sound, chanting and meditation.
