Korean hand therapy often called Koryo hand therapy focuses on points on the hand. It uses both reflexology of the hand, similar to foot reflexology as well as acupuncture. Rather than using the meridians on the body it uses only acupuncture pressure points on the hand and believes that the body can be represents by points on the hand.

 

The points on the hand are gently stimulated by massage and the therapy has a great healing potential. In addition many people can learn the basics of KHT and treat themselves and family members of minor illnesses and ailments.
