Description

Kinesiology is the study of the body’s muscles in relation to health. It is believed that each health problem is represented by a specific muscle weakness. Kinesiology brings together ancient Chinese theories of acupuncture and western medicine through muscle testing. It is believed that when we are ill the energy in our body is out of balance. This causes a build up of toxins in particular muscles in the body and is demonstrated by weakness in that muscle.

Once a kinesiology therapist has tested your muscle function they will be able to diagnose your illness and prescribe a treatment to correct the imbalance. Typical treatments include prescribing vitamins, mineral or herbs to remove toxins from the body, muscle balancing or massage of acupuncture pressure points.

Kinesiology is a completely holistic therapy that treats the whole person. It can be used to treat a large number of conditions and these include among others headaches, migraines, insomnia, depression, stress, constipation, digestive disorders, IBS, acne, eczema, psoriasis, allergies, asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, ME, Immune disorders, candida, hormonal imbalances, menopausal symptoms, joint and muscle pain.
