Ear acupuncture is a specialised form of acupuncture that focuses only on the ear area. There are over 200 acupuncture points on the ear that each represents a different part of the body. It is believed that by placing needles in the ear at points that correspond to the specific parts of the body that need treatment it will activate the healing process. It has been seen to be a very successful form of therapy in the same way that traditional acupuncture has been.
