Homeopathy Removed from NHS

There has been a lot of debate about whether homeopathy should be funded by the NHS and now a Commons select committee has decided it should not be available. This is largely because a number of NHS practitioners have lobbied them to get it removed even thought the expense on it is tiny in comparison to the NHS annual budget.

For many people this is very disappointing and will mean that people do not have the choices they really want or they will need to pay for it themselves. Homeopathy has been used for over 200 years and now the NHS has removed it and with it a person’s right to choose their own treatment plan.
